Making the Leap
I've decided it was time for me to make the leap from LJ to DW finally, after a 8 year run on Livejournal. Considering I used to blog on the really early platforms (AIM and who knows what else was around in 2000), it's safe to say I've been doing this for a long while.
A little bit about me. I am a bit of an enigma. I don't talk about my personal life a lot. I prefer to write in a way that's open to interpretation so that my readers can take what they need to out of my entries. That's part of the reason I've decided to jump ship. My LJ has become way too personal for my liking, and I need a fresh start.
A lot of the posts I write will be song interpretations and will be about the impact of music on my life. I use a lot of symbolism in my writing too, so it's not always clear what I'm talking about (this is where some animes come into play). I can be a little tough to follow sometimes, but that's intentional. In any case, I'm just looking for people that will enjoy what I write, whether it be just by reading, or participating. It's alright with me if you add me just to find something new that's fun to read. I'm not concerned with having 10,000 comments to respond to. I'm sure I'll get enough of that from people that like to get more involved.
